If you haven't seen or heard The Staves @TheStaves yet, believe me... you need these beautiful girls music in your life!
I had the absolute pleasure of seeing them perform while working on the SKY Arts, live coverage of @CamFolkFest. They originally weren't on the line up for the show but after Mark Radcliffe happened to stumble upon their performance that day while sheltering from the rain, he made it so - legend. So moved was I by their acoustic performance of 'Icarus' I cried... ok sobbed actually if you must know! Embarrassing or what... on a job too. So how can I put into words their sound... beautiful, hypnotic, stripped, dream like, moving... If angels could sing... I think this is what they would sound like, sigh.
